Annual Meeting 2007:
Thirty-eight agency staff members received recognition awards for a total of 355 years of combined service to families.
Family Service Association held the Annual Meeting of its Board of Directors in November 2007 at White’s of Westport.  The meeting afforded an opportunity for the agency’s Board and management staff to assess the accomplishments of the past year.  Awards were also presented to twenty-four staff members in recognition of their five-year, ten-year, fifteen year, twenty-year and twenty-five year anniversaries of service to the community.

Featured speaker for the event was the Honorable James M. Cronin, retired first justice of the Bristol Division of the Juvenile Court Department of the Massachusetts Trial Court, who addressed the group about an innovative program he developed to assist youthful offenders through writing and literature.
