In many ways, Karen Dreyer exemplifies the mission of Family Service Association.  Always ready to serve others, she has provided years of dedication to her community and to its families.

Although she stepped down as President of the Family Service Association Board of Directors several years ago after holding the position for fourteen years, she continues to serve as a very active and involved Board member.

For years, the Board met monthly at the conference room dedicated to her at the agency's former administrative headquaters at 151 Rock Street in Fall River.  With the establishment of the administrative staff's new home at the agency's historic facility at nearby 101 Rock Street, it was only fitting that the newly renovated conference room there be re-dedicated in Karen's honor.  The Board of Directors took that action in October of 2007 at a brief but very important re-dedication ceremony in honor of this truly committed member of the Family Service Association "family" -- Karen S. Dreyer.
