In August, the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors its annual version of one of the largest East Coast waterfront festivals, Fall River Celebrates America. 

The celebration this year featured food, music, fireworks and a giant parade.  In keeping with a long-standing tradition, Family Service Association presented a large marching unit -- one that was greeted by the enthusiastic applause of thousands of spectators.
