There are children who struggle with acute symptoms related to serious mental health disorders. In recent years, increased efforts have been made to help youth affected by these disorders to reside within their communities, creating a need for specialized community-based treatment.
Child & Youth Specialty Services, a program developed by Family Service Association, provides a professional team approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment of childhood mental health disorders.
These include:

• Sexualized Behaviors
• Fire-Setting
• Substance Abuse
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder
• Conduct Disorders.
• Oppositional Behaviors
Individual, group, and family treatment as well as psychiatric services are designed to ameliorate symptoms and facilitate a child’s healing.
These services are provided on an outpatient basis, with home-based and school-based treatment where possible and clinically appropriate.
